PCS Theater has announced its production of the beloved musical Fiddler on the Roof, running from September 8th to 30th on the Players Club of Swarthmore  Main Stage. This timeless classic, with music by Jerry Bock, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, and a book by Joseph Stein, continues to captivate audiences with its poignant story of tradition, love, and resilience.

Opening Friday, Apr 7 on Second Stage at the Players Club of Swarthmore is Puffs, or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic, a comedy by Matt Cox, directed by Taylor Kellar.

Next up on The Players Club of Swarthmore's Main Stage is Annie, often called a?oeAmerica's Happiest Musicala??. With book by Thomas Meehan, music by Charles Strouse, and lyrics by Martin Charnin, Annie has won seven Tony Awards. Based on the Harold Gray comic strip' Little Orphan Annie,' Annie features all the hits you know and love including; a?oeTomorrow,a?? a?oeHard Knock Lifea?? and a?oeFully Dresseda??. For the final show of the 2018-2019 season, The Players Club of Swarthmore presents Sister Act, the feel- good musical comedy based on the 1992 film starring Whoopi Goldberg . Sister Act earned five Tony Award nominations in 2011 including Best Musical Score with music by Alen Menkin (Little Shop of Horrors, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid) and lyrics by Glen Slater (The Little Mermaid).Sister Act was also nominated for Best Book of a Musical written by Cheri and Bill Steinkellner (Cheers) and Douglas Carter Beane(Xanadu and The Little Dog Laughed).
