Dorothy Weems is an actress, in 2015 starring as Rose Kennedy in critically acclaimed 28 MARCHANT AVENUE and featured as Dorothy Parker in the critically acclaimed LITTLE WARS at Clarion Theatre in NYC. In 2014 she performed as Dorothy Parker in the world premiere of LITTLE WARS and starred as Cassandra in The Veil web series pilot. She starred as Kate in ALL MY SONS and as Hecuba in TROJAN WOMEN in 2013, and in 2012 took abroad her one-woman show, MISS WOLFE'S TANGIER STORIES. Dorothy also works on camera, with a love for film, television, videos, and commercials.

Following critically acclaimed workshop presentations, McCasland's plays will return to NYC in a month-long festival celebrating the young playwright. Together with The Clarion Theatre, they'll present six plays beginning on May 6th, 2015, with a company of actors performing in repertory. All of the plays focus on historical figures, including Laurette Taylor, Billie Holiday, Tennessee Williams, Gertrude Stein, Lillian Hellman and more.
