The Polygon Gallery will present the Canadian premiere of the delectably colourful traveling exhibition Feast for the Eyes from June 4-August 23, 2020. Curated by writer Susan Bright and Aperture Foundation's senior editor Denise Wolff, Feast for the Eyes tells the history of photography through the enticing lens of food. Featuring the work of more than 60 of the world's leading artists from the late 19th century to the 2010's, including Edward Weston, Ed Ruscha, and Wolfgang Tillmans, the exhibition brings together a mouth-watering assortment of over 100 images from photojournalism to fashion photography, from rare cookbooks to advertising.

26th Annual Shakespeare by the Sea to Present TAMING OF THE SHREW in Carlin Park, 7/7-17

 Social class structure, deception and romance are the themes in William Shakespeare's hallmark comedy The Taming of the Shrew, and the Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival is taking it to the Kentucky Derby during its annual summertime production during Shakespeare by the Sea XXVI. The run for the roses and Katherine's heart happens this year July 7 - 10 and 14 - 17.  The free, outdoor professional theater experience, presented in partnership with Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation takes the Seabreeze Amphitheatre stage in Carlin Park, Jupiter. Audience members are invited to bring their beach chair, blanket, picnic basket or enjoy food truck concessions. The gates open at 6:30 pm with performances starting at 8 pm. A $5 donation is suggested.

Hillsborough,' the first documentary in the 30 for 30: Soccer Stories series, explores the worst sporting disaster in history. Directed by Daniel Gordon, the film will premiere on ESPN at 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 15th - the 25th anniversary of the tragedy that occurred during an FA Cup semi-final soccer match between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest at the Hillsborough Stadium in Sheffield, England. It's a comprehensive account of the events that unfolded before, during and after the horrifying afternoon that led to the deaths of 96 people as well as the injuries to several hundred more and the traumatization of countless lives.

ESPN to Debut New Film Series 30 FOR 30: SOCCER STORIES, April 2014

ESPN Films, creators of the critically-acclaimed 30 for 30 film series, will premiere a new series in April surrounding the 2014 FIFA World Cup on ESPN. 30 for 30: Soccer Stories will include a mix of standalone feature-length and 30-minute-long documentary films from an award winning group of filmmakers telling compelling narratives from around the international soccer landscape. In addition, a collection of 10 vignettes about Brazil's rich culture will be featured throughout ESPN's FIFA World Cup programming.
