"Hot Flashin'," a new play written and produced by noted entertainer Gina Jourard - which she describes as "A Feel Better Musical Comedy" - and featuring the original music of renowned songwriter Tom Pergola, will make its world debut on Thursday, May 9 at The Odyssey Theater in West LA. The show will be performed four times during Mother's Day weekend (May 9 - May 12th), and again another four times during the following weekend from May 16 - 19th. Briefs is a unique venture in St. Louis that brings together numerous directors and theatrical artists to showcase the work of eight different playwrights all under one roof. Briefs presents theatrical work that address the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer or questioning people. The festival is targeted to a diverse and mature audience that appreciates good theatre in unique settings.

Greenway Arts Alliance has announced a season of five world premieres kicking off today, September 25, with BREATHE by Javon Johnson which will run concurrently with BREATHING ROOM by Mary Lou Newmark (beginning October 3).

FRONT DOOR OPEN by Tom Baum follows in November, and 2016 will begin with SWARM CELL by Gabriel Rivas Gomez, opening in January. The season will conclude with SIX LETTERS IN HARLEM by Crescent McGlone, opening in July.

Mariah Bonner strikes quite a figure as the narrator of these 5 short plays by The Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights (ALAP). Encouraging the audience to post on social media about the show, many in the audience were more than happy to oblige! Each of the 5 plays poses questions about sexual orientation, attraction, and how social media has affected our relationships. Each story is simple in the telling, but deep in human interaction.

Performers include Kristen Behrendt DeGrazia as Reno Sweeey, John Muriello as Moonface Martin, Megan Keiser as Hope, Joe Mosher as Billy Crocker, Megan O'Brien as Erma, and Ken Van Egdon as Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Brett Bordon, Trista Carlson, Jon Cryer, Jean Grewe, Emily Hill, Brian Lawler, Susan Manuel , Mike Nelson , Christine Pernetti, Glen Schmitz, Jerry Stamp, Raiden Takeuchi, Rex VanDorpeAudrey , Wagner, Teresa Wagner, Lisa Warren and Sheila Wayson round out the ensemble.

Three Roses Players hosts fundraiser event, FEED THE ROSES, on April 14, 2012 from 7-11pm at the Crown City Theatre, St. Matthews Church, 11031 Camarillo, NoHo, CA 91602. The event includes a silent auction, food, wine tasting, and music by Sam D'Entremont.

The TCG National Conference offers the largest forum for the national theatre community to assemble and engage in artistic and intellectual exchange. Not-for-profit professional theatres in the U.S. employ 130,000 people annually, have more than 30 million attendees and contribute nearly $2 billion directly to the U.S. economy.
