Gilligan’s Island takes over The Encore Room stage as a hilarious musical with classic moments from the beloved 1960’s television show.

Fountain Hills Theater is proud to announce the opening of the musical Quilters. Quilters is a marvelous, though rarely produced musical, that blends a series of interrelated scenes into a rich mosaic which captures the sweep and beauty, the terror and joy, the harsh challenge and abiding rewards of frontier life. Illuminating stories contained in various patches or 'blocks' with music, dance and drama, the musical depicts the lot of women on the frontier: girlhood, marriage, childbirth, spinsterhood, twisters, fire, illness and death. But, with this, there is also love, warmth, rich and lively humor and the moving spectacle of simple human dignity and steadfastness in the face of adversity.

With music, lyrics, and book by Ezra Weiss, Cinderella offers fresh new take on the fairytale favorite, and this delightful new musical is sure to offer a rollicking good time for the whole family.

The Arizona premiere of FOLLIES opened on the Gyder Stage at the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts on February 20, 2015. The music and lyrics of the dazzling FOLLIES score are by Broadway legend Stephen Sondheim. The book is by Academy Award winner James Goldman, also known for The Lion in Winter. Theater Works announces the cast for the Arizona premiere of FOLLIES, the legendary musical The New York Times calls 'one of the greatest musicals ever written'. FOLLIES will open on the Gyder Stage at the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts on February 20, 2015.

Imagine a world without music or dance. Walk in the shoes of war veterans who cope in singular ways with their demons. Feel for the husband who can't get a word in edge-wise between two prototypical controllers, his wife and a doctor. Contemplate government-regulated dinners. Feel for the wife who fears for her life and takes necessary measures. Occupy the assassin's psyche before the lethal act. It's this thread of foibles, follies, fears, and fancies that weaves through the eight ten-minute plays currently featured in Theatre Artists Studio's 7th Annual New Summer Shorts Festival.

Love is in the air at Theatre Artists Studio, as this year's installment in The Studio's "Words for Music" program features songs of romance by popular composers and lyricists Lerner and Loewe, Frank Loesser, Irving Berlin, Stephen Sondheim, Paul McCartney and many more. CRAZY LOVE explores the unintended consequences that result for a group of close friends following the unexpected engagement of one of its members. In story and song, the friends explore the ups and downs of love, the highs and lows of romantic relationships, and the sometimes comical, sometimes bittersweet, side effects of being in love.
