Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research raised $3.6 million and counting for blood cancer research at its annual fundraiser, the Angel Ball, Monday night at Cipriani Wall Street. This black-tie benefit, hosted by Grammy-nominated songwriter Denise Rich and her daughters Daniella Rich and Ilona Rich Schachter, honored the work of Heidi Klum; Amy and Brian France, Chairman and CEO of NASCAR, Founders, The Luke and Meadow Foundation; Mary Kitchen and Jon Orszag, Co-Founder of Compass Lexecon, Co-Directors of The Orszag Foundation. Pop rock sensation OneRepublic, legendary vocalist Patti LaBelle and Tony and Grammy Award-winner Billy Porter performed throughout the evening.

On May 12, 2014, The Atlantic Arts Foundation, with the artistic collaboration of Harlem Opera Theater, presents Benjamin Britten's The Burning Fiery Furnace, with the generous support of MasterCard and Citi. One of Britten's famed "Parables for Church Performance," this one-hour opera in English will be performed by an all African-American cast in the gothic revival splendor of Harlem's Church of the Intercession (Broadway at 155th Street, NYC). The performance begins at 7:00pm.

Sharon Bush, Philanthropist & Founder/Chief Executive Officer of Teddy Share, Arianna Huffington, Chair, President & Editor-in-Chief of the Huffington Post Media Group, and Joan Vail Thorne, playwright and director, were Women's Project Theater's 2014 Women of Achievement, who were inducted at its 29th Annual Gala Celebration at the Mandarin Oriental, 80 Columbus Circle, on Monday, March 10. Veanne Cox and Doug Wamble lead a musical tribute to lyricist Dorothy Fields. Also on hand throughout the evening were presenters David Hyde Pierce and Stanley Zareff. Check out a look back below!

Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research hosted its signature fundraiser, the Angel Ball, on Tuesday, October 29th at Cipriani Wall Street. The black-tie benefit, hosted by Grammy-nominated song writer Denise Rich featured a cocktail reception, dinner, live musical performances, a paddle raise and both live and online auctions raising nearly $3 million for the Foundation's research initiatives. This year's gala honored three individuals for their outstanding philanthropic contributions to cancer research. Supermodel Karolina Kurkova presented Simon de Pury, Chairman, de Pury de Pury with an award for his dedication to raising much needed funds for cancer research. Hugh Jackman along with his wife Deborra-lee Furness honored Deborra-lee's mother, Fay Duncan, President of the Fight Cancer Foundation in Australia and Ethan Zohn took the stage to talk about how research and the work of Clay B. The annual National Meningitis Association (NMA) Give Kids a Shot Gala was once again an emotion filled evening but a stellar success in aiding the fight against meningitis, a potentially vaccine preventable disease. Held in the elegant ballrooms of the historic New York Athletic Club with phenomenal views of Central Park as a backdrop, hundreds of New York's movers and shakers turned out to support the cause and also to congratulate meningitis survivor & Para Olympic Gold Medalist Nick Springer, an Honorary Chair along with Ambassador & Mrs. John L. The Princess Grace Foundation-USA (PGF-USA) hosted the 2011 Princess Grace Awards Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City and presented 21 Awards to emerging artists in theater, dance and film, as well as the Prince Rainier III Award which was presented to Julie Andrews and the Princess Grace Statue Award which was presented to Jon M. Chu, director of the highest grossing concert-themed film of all time in the U.S. Justin Bieber: Never Say Never. On Wednesday, November 10, The 2010 Princess Grace Awards were held at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. The Awards ceremony included the presentation of 21 awards to emerging artists in theater, dance and film as well as the Prince Rainier III Award, presented to Denzel and Pauletta Washington, and the Princess Grace Statue Award to be presented to Anna D. Shapiro. The Award recipients hail from cities and states across America and traveled to New York City to receive their honor at the glamorous black tie ceremony. The 28th Annual Princess Grace Awards Gala took place in the presence of Her Royal Highness Caroline Princess of Hanover. The evening was co-chaired by Bonnie Pfeifer Evans.
