Anthony is a romantic who only wants to celebrate his handsome boyfriend and love, Andrew, with the whole world…or at least the entire borough of Brooklyn. Anthony is Italian so he wants his wedding ceremony to be filled with an abundance of food, fanfare, more food, music, and even more food! So what’s the big deal? Anthony’s gay and he wants the blessing of his Italian Catholic parents. While he insists on a big, traditional Italian wedding, his over-bearing momma has a few stipulations of her own, not the least of which is that the family priest perform the ceremony. Add to the mix bickering relatives, a crazed wedding coordinator and a jealous ex-boyfriend who wants nothing more than to ruin the whole thing, and you've got one hell of a wedding party! What follows is a hilarious sequence of events as the boys' extended families try to make the wedding a day they will all never forget. Performed at Victor Jory Theatre at Actors Theatre.
