This April, Jacques Brel RETURNS will continue shows at The Triad with performances on April 11th at 7pm and April 25th at 7pm. Both April shows will celebrate the 83rd birthday of the late Jacques Brel, which is on Sunday, April 8th.

Featured in the 4/11 and 4/25 shows will be Ereni Sevasti (The Bacchae at The Public, Carnival at The Kennedy Center), Arlo Hill (Where’s Charley? at Encores! directed by John Doyle) and David Wolfson.

The 4/11 show will also feature PJ Baccari, and the 4/25 show will also feature Broadway’s Natascia Diaz (Man of La Mancha, Seussical, The Capeman and Carousel) and Drama Desk-nominee Avi Hoffman.

The production, which has been playing at The Triad (158 West 72nd Street) for over a year and performs a few times each month, is an intimate and engaging evening of classic Jacques Brel songs and features a rotating cast of Broadway performers as well as occasional surprise guest performers. The show features timeless and beloved Brel tunes including "Carousel," "My Childhood," "If We Only Have Love," "Ne Me Quitte Pas," "The Bulls," "Amsterdam" and "I Loved."

Jacques Brel RETURNS is presented by Dan Whitten, Mark Beigelman, Peter Martin and Tiger Theatricals and was originally created by Dan Whitten (who also produced the hit revival and CD of Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris in 2006/2007) and Mark Beigelman.

"Brel's music is timeless and we are thrilled to get to keep it alive at The Triad” says producer Dan Whitten. “We will also be touring the show starting in the summer with Cleveland, where Brel saved The Playhouse Square Theatre back in the early 70's."

Jacques Brel RETURNS plays at The Triad (158 West 72nd Street) each month, with April’s shows taking place on 4/11 at 7pm and 4/25 at 7pm. Tickets, priced at $30 for general admission and $40 for premium seating, can be bought online at www.BrownPaperTickets.com or by phone at 800-838-3006. There is also a two-drink minimum at each performance.
