TheatreLAB and Richmond Triangle Players announce that the application deadline for SPECTRUM, the eight-week residency program for LGBTQQIA youth, has been extended due to high interest!

All applications must now be submitted by April 1, 2014 at midnight.

Ideal applicants are LGBTQQIA (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersexed and Allies) identified youth who are rising 9th-12th grade students from the Metro-Richmond area. The program does not have an application fee, nor does it charge tuition or registration fees. Thanks to a generous three-year grant from The Mukti Fund, SPECTRUM will remain a free program for accepted applicants.

The eight-week residency will begin June 4th, and will conclude with a public performance on July 27th. Class sessions will be held Wednesdayevenings and Saturday mornings. Due to the busy schedule of the residency, only one scheduled absence is permitted. Applicants with multiple time conflicts will be asked to apply again next year.

The short application can be found attached along with this press release, and is also available for download on TheatreLAB's website at www.theatrelabrva.com or Richmond Triangle Players' website at www.rtriangle.org.
