Singer and lyricist Melissa Etheridge returns to the Filene Center to showcase her fan-favorite rock anthems of the last three decades. Etheridge has been nominated nine times-more than any other artist-for the Grammy Award for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance. She won her first Grammy Award in 1992 for the hit single "Ain't It Heavy." Her other renowned singles include "Bring Me Some Water," "Come to My Window," and "I'm the Only One." In 2007 Etheridge won an Academy Award for her song "I Need to Wake Up," which was featured in the film An Inconvenient Truth. In addition to her songwriting, she is a devoted supporter and activist for gay and lesbian rights and the winner of GLADD's Stephen F. Kolzak Award.

Pop/rock guitarist and pianist Eric Hutchinson makes his debut performance at the Filene Center. Hutchinson's 2007 album, Sounds Like This, attracted attention from celebrity blogger Perez Hilton and has sold more than 250,000 copies. Sounds Like This reached No. 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. Hit singles off the album include "Rock & Roll," "OK, It's Alright With Me," and "Oh!" Hutchinson's most recent album, Moving Up Living Down (2012), features the fan favorite "Watching You Watch Him."

Juanes

Latin music sensation Juanes brings his widely popular Spanish-language songs to the Filene Center to entertain fans of all ages and cultures. His most recent release, MTV Unplugged (2012), won the Latin Grammy for Album of the Year. Juanes first found success in his native Colombia as a guitarist and singer for the thrash metal band Ekhymosis in the late 1980s. Upon releasing his first solo album Fíjate Bien (2000), he gained even more fame and success, as well as three Latin Grammy Awards. In total, Juanes has released eight albums, won 19 Latin Grammy Awards, and sold more than 15 million records. His most popular hits include "La Camisa Negra," "A Dios le Pido," and "Me Enamora." Billboard named Juanes Latin music's "Star of the Decade," and he was honored as one of TIME's 100 Most Influential People in the World.

Bleach blonde rocker Billy Idol makes his debut at the Filene Center this summer. Idol began his career as part of the British punk group Generation X in the late 1970s. A decade later, he decided to go solo. Idol, in collaboration with guitarist Steve Stevens, created hits such as "Rebel Yell," "Dancing With Myself," and "White Wedding." In 1987 Idol released Vital Idol, which included the hit single "Mony Mony" that reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. His most recent album is 2006's Happy Holidays: A Very Christmas Album.

Indie rocker Cat Power, who gained fame opening for Liz Phair in the late 1990s, also makes her Wolf Trap debut performance as Idol's special guest. Power released her first studio album in 1995 and has steadily released music ever since, including You Are Free (2003). In 2012 Power released Sun, which peaked at No. 10 on theBillboard 200 and features a collection of synthpop songs.

The Tenors

"Canada's National Treasure" The Tenors bring their blend of classical, opera, pop, and world music for the first time to Wolf Trap. Their musical repertoire includes covers of hit songs, such as Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" and Bob Dylan's "Forever Young," along with original songs. The Tenors' most recent album, Lead With Your Heart (2013), reached platinum status in Canada in only eight weeks. They have been featured in numerous high-profile performances, including singing with Celine Dion on The Oprah Winfrey Show and performing at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics Opening Ceremony.

Sing-A-Long Grease

Fans of the hit movie Grease will have the chance to sing-a-long with the stars of the film this summer at the Filene Center. The show fully depends on the participation of the audience, who are encouraged to dress up as their favorite characters. Prior to the show, audience members will be given goody bags with props and will be taught how to hand jive, cheer, and sing-a-long. Since its release, Grease's soundtrack has sold more than 5 million copies, and the film is widely considered to be one of the greatest movie musicals of all time.

The Turtles featuring Flo & Eddie, the band that created the 1960s hit "Happy Together," returns to the Filene Center. Known for their harmonic, feel-good songs, Mark Volman (Flo) and Howard Kaylan (Eddie) met in high school and performed together in a band called the Nightcrawlers, which later became The Turtles. Some of their 1960s hits include "She'd Rather Be With Me," "She's My Girl," and "Elenore." The band split in the 1970s, but came back together in 1984 and has been performing ever since.

Pop/rock performer Chuck Negron formerly of Three Dog Night returns to the Filene Center. Negron's career began when he was a teenager performing with his vocal group at the Apollo Theater. He went on to form the R&B, rock 'n' roll, and urban doo-wop influenced band Three Dog Night in 1967 with Cory Wells and Danny Hutton. The band had 18 consecutive Top 20 Billboard hits and four No.1 singles, including "Mama Told Me Not to Come," "Joy to the World," and "Black and White."

Pop/rock group Gary Puckett & The Union Gap returns to the Filene Center to showcase their hits including "Woman, Woman" and "Young Girl." The band gained fame in the 1960s and went on to have six gold records, as well as many Top 10 Billboard hits. They disbanded in the 1970s, but Gary Puckett has continued to tour and perform both nationally and internationally.

Mark Lindsay, former lead singer of Paul Revere and The Raiders, returns to the Filene Center with such 1960s as "Kicks" and "Hungry." Paul Revere and The Raiders formed in 1961 and had considerable success for about a decade. Their hit single "Indian Reservation" reached No. 1 in 1971 and sold more than 6 million copies. Lindsay left the band in the 1970s, but continues to tour as a part of Happy Together.

Gary Lewis & The Playboys makes their debut at the Filene Center this summer. Originally discovered by producer Snuff Garret in 1964, the band has had many Top 10 singles, including "Count Me In" and "This Diamond Ring," which was not only their first single, but also their first No. 1 hit. In 1965 Cash Box magazine dubbed Lewis "Male Vocalist of the Year."
