Menopause The Musical will play at The Historic North Theatre Performing Arts Center for 3 performances, May 16 and 17, 2014. Show time May 16 is at 8:00 PM, and May 17 performances at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM, respectively.

Four women meet by chance at a lingerie sale in a department store while viewing a black lace bra.

The all-female cast makes fun of their woeful hot flashes, forgetfulness, mood swings, wrinkles, night sweats and chocolate binges.

These women form a unique bond with the entire audience as they rejoice in celebrating that menopause is no longer "The Silent Passage," but rather a perfectly normal stage in every woman's life.

Menopause The Musical is produced by Tony Award-winning GFour Productions and is the work of writer Jeanie Linders, director Seth Greenleaf, and choreographer Daria Melendez.

The laughter-filled 90-minute production gets audience members out of their seats dancing and singing along to parodies from classic pop songs of the '60s, '70s and '80s.

Inspired by a hot flash and a bottle of wine, writer Jeanie Linders created the show as a celebration of women and "The Change."

Key phrases associated with the hilarious musical:

"It's a party every night!"

"A tribute to all women everywhere, and a celebration for all - including men!"

"Women walk in as strangers and leave as friends!"

"It's like a sisterhood, a sorority!"

"The show is Enlightening, Enriching and Empowering; it's Transformational for everyone in the audience!"

Menopause The Musical features a talented and diverse cast from all over the country including:

Liz Hyde, who plays Iowa Housewife, is celebrating 7 years with Menopause The Musical. Liz has enjoyed touring the country with the tour, especially shows in Alaska, Maine, and Hawaii.

Sandra Benton, who plays Professional Woman, is an actress with a gypsy spirit. Sandra has performed all over the United States and abroad. She's performed on stage and screen and is happy to be returning to Menopause The Musical.
