Do you think you have what it takes to be BroadwaySpotted’s Next Big Star? Enter for your chance to perform LIVE at The Davenport Theatre in front of a panel of industry professionals including Ken Davenport and Cesar Rocha! One lucky winner will receive the grand prize package.
We’re looking for singers 16+ from across the country to enter our search for BroadwaySpotted’s Next Big Star. Submissions and voting for our top ten finalists will occur online and the top 5 guys and top 5 girls will perform at our live event! Our guest judges and audience will vote for the Next Big Star!
Important Dates:
Submissions must be entered by Sunday, April 20th at 11:59PM. Voting will be open to the public through Monday, April 28th at 11:59PM. Finalists will be announced Friday, May 2nd and the top 5 guys and 5 girls with the most votes will perform at a live event at The Davenport Theatre (354 West 45th Street, NYC) on Thursday, May 22nd.

The Grand Prize Winner will receive:
A private work session with a Broadway Casting Director (Cesar Rocha from Telsey + Company)
$500
A spot in Tony-Award Winning Broadway Producer Ken Davenport’s “How to Nail Your Audition Workshop”
An autographed copy of Rock The Audition by Sheri Sanders
A 30 minute headshot photoshoot with an NYC photographer
2 free hours in a rehearsal space at The Davenport Studios in Midtown Manhattan
Rules and Guidelines:
Must be at least 16 years old at the time of the live contest (May 22nd)
The video you submit should be a song of your choice, 1-2 minutes long. Pick a song that highlights your talent and personality!
In the description of your YouTube entry, you must include a link to this page (www.broadwayspotted.com/nextbigstar)
Your YouTube video title must include “BroadwaySpotted’s Next Big Star” in addition to your first and last name (i.e. BroadwaySpotted’s Next Big Star – Adele Dazeem)

One vote for the finalists per email address
The live contest will be hosted by Sheri Sanders (Rock the Audition) with Ken Davenport, Cesar Rocha, and additional guest judges to be announced.
