This romantic comedy, one of the most popular of the century, follows a love affair between two people, Doris and George, married to others, who rendezvous once a year. Twenty-five years of manners and morals are hilariously and touchingly played out by the lovers, who discuss the births, deaths, marital problems, and social changes affecting their lives, and develop an emotional intimacy deeper than what one would expect to find between two people meeting for a clandestine relationship just once a year. The play was adapted into a 1978 movie starring Ellen Burstyn and Alan Alda. Caution: Contains mild profanity and adult themes.

Surfside Players, the community theatre of Cocoa Beach, proudly presents Same Time, Next Year, by Bernard Slade, directed by Janet Rubin and starring Becky Behl-Hill and Gordon Ringer. The show runs for three weekends, January 11 - 27, 2013, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 pm and Sundays at 2:00 pm.
