Andrea Marcovicci will appear in an exclusive concert performance of her highly acclaimed show, "No Strings", tonight, August 13 at 8 p.m. at Cape May Stage's Robert Shackleton Playhouse.
 
"No Strings" takes the audience on a wonderful trip around the world.  This show is a warm, funny, heartfelt, and candid tale of Andrea's time spent traveling from city to city, and what that has meant to her as a singer, actress, wife, and mother. Highlights include: "Sunday in New York," "Two For the Road," "How are Things in Glocca Morra?," "Under Paris Skies," and "A Foggy Day." In addition, Andrea will recreate her celebrated rendition of "These Foolish Things."
 
Andrea Marcovicci has created more than 30 nightclub acts, has sold out Carnegie Hall, Town Hall, Lincoln Center, and appeared in concert with numerous orchestras and at the White House.  An acclaimed actress both on and off Broadway, in film and on TV, she has starred opposite Danny DeVito, Woody Allen, and Sir Michael Caine, among others.

Part of Cape May Stage's acclaimed Second Stage Broadway Series, "No Strings" will run tonight, August 13th at 8 p.m. at the Robert Shackleton Playhouse at the corner of Bank & Lafayette Streets in downtown Cape May.  Tickets are $50, and include an after party at the Wine Bar at the Washington Inn, Cape May's new hip, relaxing, contemporary meeting place at the corner of Washington and Jefferson Streets.  There, you'll have a chance to mingle with Ms. Marcovicci and Mr. Weinstein, while enjoying delicious complimentary hors d'oeuvres and a well-stocked cash bar.  Call (609) 884-1341 for reservations and information or visit the theatre's website, www.capemaystage.org.
