Everyone at the Cleveland Opera Company is anxiously anticipating the arrival of famed Italian opera star Tito Merelli to perform the title role in Othello. But when it appears that Tito is incapacitated, Company Manager Saunders and his assistant Max come up with a plan to fool everyone with a stand in...What could possibly go wrong? Like any good farce, and this certainly is one, a complicated web of mistaken identity, crazy plot twists, double entendres, slamming doors and everybody desperately wanting something from poor Tito the tenor. Part of the 2011-2012 Citizens Bank Performing Arts Series.
