Hofesh Shechter is rapidly becoming one of Britain’s most celebrated artists. Born in Israel, Shechter has made the UK his home since 2002. The magic of his work, with a young, urban feel to it, hits the audience in a direct manner. His work has been recognized by several awards including the 2004 Audience Vote
Special Prize in The Place Prize and the Critic’s Circle National Dance Award for Best Modern Choreography (2008) for In Your Rooms. His work has since toured worldwide to popular and critical acclaim.
