The PSC Community Theatre presents their next play by Montreal playwright Colleen Curran, LOCAL TALENT. There will be only six performances, which are likely to sell out in advance. The performance schedule is as follows:

Friday, May 2nd 2014 - 8pm
Saturday, May 3rd - 8pm
Sunday, May 4th (Matinee) - 2pm

Thursday, May 8th - 8pm
Friday, May 9th - 8pm
Saturday, May 10th - 8pm

All performances take place at the Old Bank at 1900 Wellington St. in Point St. Charles, and the cost is a suggested donation of $8.00.

LOCAL TALENT takes place in 1990. A cosmetic company decides to launch their new line by hosting a Mrs. Canada pageant. The lucky winner will be Minerva's spokesperson. A zany comedy featuring four contestants Astrid Kirshbaum, Corey Jo Dempsey, Bessie Kirk and Lily Strathcona with ideas of their own and an uptight "lady in charge" Ms. Ginny Bain. Throw into the mix, the mysterious Master of Ceremony Buster Kelahear and one never knows what will happen or what secrets get revealed. Local Talent is written by our very own local playwright and supporter of our PSC Theatre, Colleen Curran. (Local Talent premiered at the Blyth Festival in June 1990. The director was Maya Ardal).
