Le Festival de Lanaudière is pleased to welcome you to its fourth week of concerts.

NEW SOUNDS AWAIT YOU!
To kick off this fourth week of concerts, we invite you to a world of unconventional sounds. On Thursday, July 28, at8 p.m., the Akousma Festival will be back at the Musée d'art de Joliette with guest artists Pipo Pierre-Louis, Line Katcho, and Myriam Bleau to continue their exploration of various kinds of electroacoustic music. The following evening, Friday, July 29 at 8 p.m. at the Amphithéâtre Fernand-Lindsay, will see the unusual string ensemblecollectif9 presenting classical music with the charisma of a rock group on a stage decked out with sets and lighting.

A WEEKEND WITH A FESTIVAL ACCENT
On Saturday, July 30 at 8 p.m. at the Amphithéâtre Fernand-Lindsay, clarinetist and comedian Christopher Hallinvites you to learn about the wonderful world of the orchestra with the Laval Symphony and its conductor Alain Trudel. A fun-filled concert where music and mirth go hand in hand!

On Sunday, July 31 at 2 p.m. at the Amphithéâtre Fernand-Lindsay, join in for a celebration of the cultural heritage left to us by Father Lindsay with the Orchestre des anciens of the Father Lindsay Music Camp, the Fernand Lindsay Choir, and the chorus of 130 campers who will perform the camp hymn, Harmonia Mundi, among other works. You are invited to this grand Sunday festival event for a program designed to please all tastes: orchestral and choral music by Beethoven, Mozart, Dvorák, Orff, Verdi and others.

CHURCH CONCERTS
On Tuesday, August 2 at 8 p.m. in the Church of Saint-Amboise-de-Kildare, flutist Jocelyne Roy, accompanied by the Ensemble instrumental du Festival, invites you to discover the music of Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach (son ofJohann Sebastian) with two of his flute concertos. Also on the program is the magnificent Concerto for Flute, Violin and Harpsichord by Johann Sebastian Bach with soloists Jocelyne Roy (flute), Antoine Bareil (violin), andMélisande McNabney (harpsichord).
