Hartland's Lake Country Playhouse is overjoyed to announce the fifth anniversary production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. The fifth anniversary production is directed by LCP Board President Bob Hurd, with music direction by LCP veteran Cathy Pfeiler and stars Marty Graffenius as Ebenezer Scrooge, Paul Weir as The Ghost of Jacob Marley, and Brady Mueller as Tiny Tim.

Performance dates are December 1-11, 2016 Tickets range $20-25 and are available online at www.lakecountryplayhousewi.org. For a full performance calendar, please visit www.lakecountryplayhousewi.org/achristmascarol.

Board President and director Bob Hurd says, "A Christmas Carol, written by Charles Dickens in 1873, is a story so endearing and enduring, a story though written for the people of its day, that still captures the hearts of anyone open to its message. It is a story of wealth in riches, the blessing of family, and most important a story of faith and love. May we all become like Scrooge who discovers that, "though a man's courses foreshadow certain ends, if these courses are altered the end must change as well." I hope you enjoy our presentation of A Christmas Carol. As with all worthy endeavors, it takes many hearts and hands to create an enjoyable experience - This is no exception."

ABOUT THE SHOW
5th ANNIVERSARY PRODUCTION!
A timeless tale, Ebenezer Scrooge is a prosperous curmudgeon who believes personal wealth is far more valuable than the happiness and comfort of others. With an infuriated "Bah! Humbug!" Scrooge summates his feelings of Christmas tidings and charitable giving, but he's forced to face his selfish ways when three ghosts on Christmas Eve lead him through his Past, Present, & Future. Thanks to their guidance, Scrooge greets Christmas morning with a cheerful "Happy Christmas" in this delightful musical rendition of the Charles Dickens classic!

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Bob Hurd has been performing with the Lake Country Playhouse since 2002 when he made his debut playing multiple roles in Jesus Christ Superstar. Since then, Bob has been in many other productions as both a leading man playing Otto Fran in The Diary of Anne Frank; Jesus in Godspell; Juror Number 8 inTwelve Angry Men; and Maxine in Leading Ladies as well as a host of other roles. While it was a musical that brought Bob to the stage, he most enjoys dramatic and comedic roles as they allow a deeper and broader interpretation of each character. Bob has also directed and acted in his favorite Christmas story, A Christmas Carol. As always, Bob would like to thank Nancy his wife, his partner and best friend of over forty years, for allowing him this indulgence; his oldest son Rob for making him laugh, his youngest son Aaron and his wife Ami for their continuous love and support and their children Cayden and Reagan - Cayden, a future Tiny Tim and Reagan, a future Belinda Cratchit.
