Bluegrass Brewing Company Creates Brew for ADDAMS FAMILY Tour in Louisville; To Be Tapped 10/10

PNC Broadway in Louisville is thrilled to announce the creation of Bluegrass Brewing Company's (BBC) Lurch's Lager - a beer to celebrate the upcoming production of THE ADDAMS FAMILY playing The Kentucky Center, October 15-20.

After a successful partnership earlier this year when BBC introduced Jam Session Ale for the Broadway tour of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, the team couldn't wait to sink their teeth into another new and exciting beer. Lurch's Lager, created by BBC Brewmaster Andrew Dimery, was brewed using 4 different kinds of premium German Munich malt, which gives the beer a complexity that pairs well with the dark, yet playful nature of THE ADDAMS FAMILY.

Lurch's Lager will be tapped at the BBC St. Matthews (3929 Shelbyville Rd.) on Thursday, October 10 at 5 pm. Lurch's Lager will be available at all BBC locations Friday, October 11.

The 2013/2014 National Tour of the new musical THE ADDAMS FAMILY, based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams, will make its Louisville premiere October 15-20 at The Kentucky Center as part of the PNC Broadway in Louisville season. THE ADDAMS FAMILY features an original story and it's every father's nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family. A man her parents have never met. And if that weren't upsetting enough, she confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he's never done before - keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday's "normal" boyfriend and his parents.

THE ADDAMS FAMILY will play in Louisville at The Kentucky Center October 15-20. The performance schedule is Tuesday through Thursday evenings at7:30 pm, Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00 pm, Saturday matinee at 2:00 pm, Sunday matinee at 1:00 and Sunday evening at 6:30 pm.
