Artistic Director Les Waters and Managing Director Jennifer Bielstein are thrilled to announce the cast of 4000 Miles by Amy Herzog. Under the direction of Mike Donahue, the production will feature Michael Goldsmith (Leo Joseph-Connell), Dee Maaske (Vera Joseph), Justine Salata (Bec) and Kristin Villanueva (Amanda). 4000 Miles will preview January 5 and 6, open on January 7 and run through January 31 in the Bingham Theatre as part of the Brown-Forman Series. Tickets are available at 502.584.1205, online at ActorsTheatre.org, or in-person by visiting the Actors Theatre Box Office (316 West Main Street, Louisville, KY 40202).

Free-spirited, 20-something Leo recently set off from the West Coast on an epic bike adventure across the country. By the time he shows up at his grandmother Vera's New York City apartment, it's been a bumpy ride-to say the least. Leo's just looking to crash for a night, but the days turn into weeks as he and Vera bond over their attempts to navigate the complexities of life, love, and loss. With both humor and heartbreak, 4000 Miles takes an intimate look at the difficult road to self-acceptance that we all must travel-and the unexpected connections that we make along the way.

The creative team for 4000 Miles includes Dane Laffrey (Scenic and Costume Design), Paul Toben (Lighting Design), Stowe Nelson (Sound Design), and Hannah Rae Montgomery (Dramaturg).

4000 Miles is made possible in part by Brown-Forman, Kentucky Arts Council and Fund for the Arts. Additional support for Actors Theatre's educational outreach is provided by Yum! Brands Foundation through their sponsorship of Actors Theatre's Student Matinee Series.
