Bring your family and friends to DTLA this summer for five electrifying concerts under the stars on Jerry Moss Plaza at The Music Center! Global music artists from Afro-Mexican rhythms to West African beats and Jazz Fusion bring the heat for The Music Center’s third annual low-cost outdoor concert series geared for the entire family. Grammy® winners Luciana Souza & Trio Corrente kick off the ticketed series in June, followed by L.A.’s homegrown band Las Cafeteras; Grammy®-winning singer Oumou Sangaré; Afro-Pop, Jazz and Soul band Olatuja; and the acclaimed Chief Adjuah (formerly known as Christian Scott) with a collective of L.A.’s favorite Jazz musicians. Each Summer SoundWaves concert brings diverse rhythms and flair to L.A. for an unparalleled experience that will light up the summer nights.

For the second consecutive summer, Angelenos are invited to a free public concert to be performed on Jerry Moss Plaza at The Music Center, as part of the Live at The Music Center series. Grammy winning artists La Marisoul and Eliades Ochoa will take the stage on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 8:00 p.m..
The Music Center has announced an electrifying lineup of global music artists for its third annual Summer SoundWaves outdoor summer concert series. From Tropical Latin and Afro-Mexican rhythms to West African beats and Jazz Fusion, The Music Center's Summer SoundWaves will bring the heat to The Music Center all summer long.
Summertime fun continues as The Music Center launches The Music Center's Summer SoundWaves, a new outdoor music series that will take place on its Jerry Moss Plaza on two Saturday nights, August 21 and September 4, 2021.
