AEA's Western Regional Director Ralph Remington to Depart
Actors' Equity Association announced today that Western Regional Director Ralph Remington has made the decision to pursue a position with more creative responsibilities and intends to seek out such opportunities with different theaters across the country. Mr. Remington's last day will be Friday, September 12th.
While he has enjoyed his work as the Western Regional Director, in his resignation Mr. Remington explained: "It's been an honor to lead Equity's Western Region and be part of my union's leadership team. My creative inclination is towards an artistic directorship which combines creative responsibilities with executive authority. However, I cannot pursue such a position while still in Equity's employ and so I have decided to leave my current role."
A search for a new Western Regional Director will begin immediately.
