Shakespeare's most magical comedy features unforgettable comedic characters in equally hilarious and fantastical interlocking stories. As the wedding day of the Duke of Athens and the Queen of the Amazons approaches, young lovers steal into the forest, while an unfortunate company of would-be actors prepare a play for the upcoming nuptials, only to stumble into the realm of mischievous fairies! In this fast- paced production, the six member cast will take on multiple roles, with the emphasis on language, pleasure in playing, and the relationship that exists between the actors and the audience. Shakespeare & Company strives to bring the plays of the Bard into the lives of students in ways that are meaningful, inspiring and compelling.
