This opening production for their ninth season is anything but a one-man show. Filled with interaction with the audience it shines high on a list of must-see performances in Kansas City.
Spinning Tree Theatre opens the 2019-20 season August 16 - September 1 with Every Brilliant Thing. This Kansas City premiere tackles the issue of depression using a life-affirming list and a partly-improvised structure that engages audiences in a way never before seen at Spinning Tree. This production will also mark the company's first mainstage production at Johnson County Arts and Heritage Center.
Spinning Tree Theatre is at Just off Broadway, 3051 Penn Valley Dr, Kansas City, Missouri.
Spinning Tree Theatre provides opportunities for young artists – with disabilities and without disabilities – to collaborate with professional artists in creating, rehearsing and performing plays and musicals. We believe that all people have a right to experience and participate in the arts, and that theatre offers uniquely positive avenues for building relationships, developing creativity, and increasing confidence.
