Tupelo Community Theatre to Host 10th Annual Haunted Theatre

10th Annual Haunted Theatre Who knew ten years ago when TCT began its first Haunted Theatre that the event would turn the historic Lyric Theatre into the premiere gather place for folks interested in all things terrifying! Each year around this time, our resident ghost Antoine and assorted other goblins begin to stir and prepare for their annual "big production" at TCT. This October event has grown every year and is now one of the biggest (and scariest) Halloween attractions in Mississippi. As a result the directors and more dozens of volunteers work to turn our normally very friendly theatre into a terribly creepy place. This year auditions for the Haunted Theatre will be on September 5 and 12 at 10 a.m. at the Lyric Theatre and construction of the Haunted Theatre begins Monday, September 21. Production dates are October 16-17, 23-24, and 30-31, 7:00-11:00 pm each evening. Tickets are $15 and may be purchased at the door. This event is not recommended for most children under the age of 10. Opportunities are still available for designing, decorating, acting, and working for the production.
