The Laurel Little Theatre made some exciting anouncements about upcoming events in their season.

First, Laurel Little Theatre will feature a lovely Valentine's week comedy, Driving Miss Daisy, tonight, February 13-16.

Laurel Little Theatre heads to 1950's Atlanta with the warm-hearted and humorous story of the unlikely relationship between an aging, crotchety white Southern lady and a proud, soft-spoken black man.

LLT first presented this now-classic play back in 1991 with Brenda Shows Parker and Michael Marks in the two lead roles, and both of them are back as we revisit Miss Daisy and her chauffeur Hoke. Brenda is also directing this production along with Shana Riles.

The amazing script won all the major awards - the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, the Outer Critics Award for Best Play and both the Academy Award and Golden Globe for Best Picture.

Performances are this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30PM and the Sunday matinee is at 2PM. The reservation line is open all the week of the show and answers 24 hours a day at 601.428.0140.
