This is a musical tribute to Sri Malaysia Vasudevan by his son, Yugendran Vasudevan Nair and the Kaliyugas. A host of leading stars & celebrities from the Tamil music industry will pay homage to one of the greatest singers in Tamil film industry.
This show will consist of 25 classic hits sung by Malaysia Vasudevan, in the musical genius of Ilaiyaraaja. The audience will witness a rare musical treat in the form of a perfect balance between some of their popular numbers and some of the technically complicated songs. The objective is to please the casual rasika as well as the ardent music connoisseur.
Apart from these 25 classics, we have also lined up 10 of the maestro`s re-recording scores (background music). This is the unique feature of the Kaliyugas where the musicians (instrumentalists) are given their own space and they take us into the mind of one of the greatest music composers of our times, Ilaiyaraaja.
