Rajrupa Chowdhury took to sarod at the tender age of five and since then she has trained with several masters: Pranab Naha, Joydeep Ghosh, Ajay Sinha Roy and Siddhartha Roy Chowdhury and Sanjoy Bandhopadhya. Having performed at major festivals in India and overseas, she has received many accolades and awards.
Sangeeta Shankar is a disciple and daughter of the violin virtuoso N. Rajam. Making her debut at sixteen, Sangeeta has performed across the globe, and has number of albums to her credit – including a Grammy nomination. Sangeeta has a doctorate degree in music from Benaras Hindu University.
