Clear Creek Community Theatre (CCCT) kicks off its "50 and Beyond" season with a Season Launch Party at the theatre on Saturday, June 27th, at 7pm. Included in this free, annual event are performances from CCCT actors as well as the announcement of shows for the 2015-2016 Season. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy hors d'oeurves, dessert, wine, and other beverages as they meet and mingle with the directors from each show as well as the CCCT Board of Directors. Additionally, guests can purchase discounted season passes. Dress is casual.

THE SEVEN RAVENS, July 8-12, 2015

A classic Grimm Fairytale, "The Seven Ravens", will be performed by the Session 1 students in the Theatre's Youth Apprentice Program. Performances are July 8-11 at 11am and Saturday & Sunday, July 11 & 12 at 2:30pm. Purchase tickets online or by calling the box office at 281-335-5228.

THE SERVANT OF TWO MASTERS, July 6-August 15, 2015

Session 2 of the Youth Program runs July 6 - Aug 15 and is geared towards students ages 12 - 18. This session focuses on comedy with students learning about comedic timing and physical comedy. Their work will culminate in public performances of "The Servant of Two Masters" by Carlo Goldoni. The "comedia del'arte" style in which the play is written is the grandfather of today's TV sit-coms. HAMLET, July 23-August 2, 2015

CCCT's "Shakespeare in the Summer" kicks off Friday, July 23rd, with "The Tragedy of Hamlet- Prince of Denmark", a tragic tale of revenge, murder, and political intrigue. "Hamlet" is among the most powerful and influential tragedies in English literature. The play seems to have been one of Shakespeare's most popular works during his lifetime, and remains one of his most widely performed works. Performance dates are July 23 - August 2.
