Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre presents the Southern tale of Robert Harling's 'Steel Magnolias' from April 16 to April 25.

Truvy's beauty salon in Chinquapin, Louisiana, is where the ladies who are 'anybody' come to have their hair done. Helped by her eager new assistant, Annelle, the outspoken and wise-cracking Truvy dispenses shampoos and free advice to the town's rich curmudgeon; Ouiser an eccentric millionaire; Miss Clairee who has a raging sweet tooth; and the local social leader; Shelby the prettiest girl in town, whose about to marry a 'good ole boy'. Steel Magnolias is filled with hilarious banter and a few sharp, but humorously revealing, verbal punches, and twists towards tragedy when Shelby risks pregnancy, which could forfeit her life.

'Steel Magnolias' is directed by Jean Wilhelmi. Scenic Design by Jeff Nibbe. Costume. Design by Shelly Hurt-Geist.

Performances are on April 16, 17, 22, 23, 24 at 7:30 p.m; April 18 & 25 at 2:00 p.m. For ticket information, please click here. The Fargo-Moohead Community Theatre is located at 333 4th St. in S Fargo, ND.
