Setting: A fantastically real place--?Brooklyn, NY
Time: The present. Summer.

Seeking:
•Dima: 16. Innocent, quiet, sheltered, and wildly imaginative. Afghan--?American.

•Elliot: 18. A street--?wise poet boy. “Prince Charming” meets “The Artful Dodger.” A trust fund kid playing artist. American. Can be any ethnicity, but casting a person of color is preferred.

•Rhami: mid to late 40s.A dutiful and observant mother and wife. The emotional anchor of the Mansour family; Afghani.

•Amir: early 50s. An academic. Devoted father and husband. Fearful

•UPS Man: 30s--?40s. An average Joe doing his job. (this actor also serves as a puppeteer).

•Speedo: A Nurse Shark of small proportion, but huge importance. (Speedo will be a puppet, so this actor should be a puppeteer)
