Other Dates
Rehearsals between June 14 and July 10, 2014. Festival runs between July 14 and August 3, 2014. There will be 5 performances (to be determined.)

NY auditions will be held on an upcoming date TBD.

Breakdown

The Producing Club is currently accepting submission for THE BAUER SISTERS which is currently slated to be part of the Midtown International Theater Festival. We are looking for the following roles:

Rosie
Early 60s -- A practical, hardworking woman living on a farm. She speaks with a slight German accent. She is Ingie's older sister. Rosie has suffered trauma in her life which has affected the way she lives her life today.

Ingie
Early 60s -- A delicate, sensitive, knowledgeable woman who has secrets in her life. She, along with all the other girls in this play, immigrated from Germany 50 years ago. She speaks with a slight German accent. Ingie was pretty when she was a young woman. She still retains some of her natural beauty.

Anna
mid 60s -- she is nearing the end of her life. through her many experiences, she has become insightful and philosophical about life. She speaks with a slight German accent.

Shultzie
early 60s -- she has a slightly heavier accent than the other girls,. She is unmarried. Although she owns a successful beauty parlor, she feels the need to love someone. Her sights are on Louie.

Mary
early 60s -- she is sophisticated in a working class way. Straight forward and earnest, she says what is on her mind which can step on people's toes. Of all the girls, Mary has been able to shed her German accent.

Louie
mid 60s -- He is a charming, affable man who searches for another wife.. He was raised to be married. His first wife died three years ago and he feels ready to move on. He speaks with a slight German accent.
