SEEKING
DANCERS: To play tourists, island locals, wedding guests, and other various ensemble characters ages 20s to 40s. Must be fantastic jazz dancers with excellent singing voices. Characters are all ethnicities. Performers of color are particularly encouraged to audition. See breakdown for full details.
PREPARATION
Please come prepared to dance. Jazz shoes/sneakers are appropriate. In case you are asked to stay and sing, please bring 16 bars of a pop/rock/contemporary song. Bring picture and resume.

DANCERS:
Male and Female. To play tourists, island locals, wedding guests, and other various ensemble characters, ages 20s-40s, all ethnicities. Must be fantastic jazz dancers with excellent singing voices. Performers of color are particularly encouraged to audition.
CHADD/ENSEMBLE
Male, 30s, any ethnicity. An insensitive, shallow bully. Yet sharply comedic. He’s pre-occupied with hockey and he’s more interested in trying to change his fiancée’s physical appearance than he is in being in a meaningful relationship with her. Must sing and have dance skills. FEATURED ENSEMBLE
GOONS/ENSEMBLE
Male, 20s-30s, any ethnicity. Great dancer/singers. Stereotypical hockey fans, who don’t exert the energy to think too hard. IDIOTS. Friends with Chadd and supporters of his bully tendencies. Must sing and have great dance skills. FEATURED ENSEMBLE

Great dancer and singer to u/s the role of RACHEL: Female, late 20s/early 30s, any ethnicity. Intense, super smart and a loyal friend. Has a constant eye on the future. Fully-committed to her job and helping the world; willing to put in as many hours of hard work as it takes and expects everyone else to do that same. Suspicious of fools and operators, Rachel is not easily distracted from her life-plan. Usually manages to suppress the part of her that enjoys a good time.

Great dancer and singer to u/s the role of TULLY: Male, late 20s/30s, any ethnicity. Charming handsome, funny—and at first glance--callow. Tully is a smooth-talking, self-deprecating playboy, reminiscent of a young Harrison Ford. He knows who he is and what he wants: Which is to romance vacationing women, show them a good time on the island, and wave goodbye to the romance after an eventful week. He’s completely content with the life he’s chosen as the singer/bartender at a tropical resort, until he meets Rachel-- a vacationer who upends his heart. Must play guitar.

Great dancer and singer to u/s the role of TAMMY: Female, 30s, any ethnicity. Big-boned, cheerful, and always ready for a good time, Tammy is a loyal friend to Rachel. Sees the best in people and has a zest for life that is often squelched by her fiancé Chad. Her low self-esteem manifests itself as denial in her own life.
