Dare to Defy Productions, a burgeoning theater production company based in Dayton, OH, takes on the peaks and pitfalls in one of the longest running off-Broadway hits, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change (book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro, music by Jimmy Roberts). This award-winning musical comedy about love in the suburbs, 0ften described as "Seinfeld set to music," is a hilarious look at love and relationships that is as touching and insightful as it is humorous.

This love-happy musical revue features actors Jackie Darnell, Zach King, Bobby Mitchum and Mackensie Vonderbrink, who combined play over forty roles that scale the dizzying spectrum of male/female relationships. This celebration of the mating game cleverly explores everything in the relationship process that you have ever secretly thought about, but were afraid to admit. From dating and waiting to bridesmaids and babies, it takes on the truths and myths behind that contemporary conundrum known as "the relationship."

Act I explores the journey from dating and waiting for love and marriage, while Act II reveals the agonies and triumphs of in-laws and newborns, trips in the family car and pick-up techniques of the geriatric set. This rollicking revue pays tribute to those who have loved and lost, to those who have fallen on their face at the portal of romance, to those who have dared to ask, "Say, what are you doing Saturday night?"

I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change will be performed at the Franciscan Center of St Leonard's located at 8200 Provincial Way, on August 4, 2015 at 7:00 P.M.

In addition, by popular demand we will be returning to Mimi's Café for a unique dinner theatre presentation of this show on August 9, 2015. Show starts at 7:00 P.M. with seating starting at 6:15. Please note an additional food purchase is required.

Tickets to both performances can be purchased by calling (937) 999-9949.
