Costa Mesa Playhouse and Broadway Knights are pleased to present an "Audition Intensive" Musical Theatre Workshop conducted by Broadway stars Megan Hilty (Wicked and 9 to 5) and Steve Kazee (Spamalot and 110 in the Shade) on Saturday, June 26, 2010 from Noon to 4 pm at the Costa Mesa Playhouse, 661 Hamilton Street in Costa Mesa.

This workshop is open to the first 30 people to register, all ages and types. Attendees should prepare two contrasting musical theater numbers (16 to 32 bars cuts). There may also be some cold readings.

"We're excited that Broadway Knights chose to partner with Costa Mesa Playhouse on this Musical Theatre Workshop," says David Blair, vice-president of the Costa Mesa Playhouse Board of Directors and a member of Broadway Knights. "Broadway Knights was founded to assist nonprofit organizations and charities in raising money and gaining exposure, which is what we aim to do with this workshop. This is a must for anyone who wants to work out their audition piece with actors who have actually appeared on Broadway."

Cost for the "Audition Intensive" workshop is $125 per person. To register, or for more information, contact David Blair at (714) 717-9971, or dblair@broadwayknights.com.
