One Drop of Love is a multimedia solo performance and documentary film-in-progress by Fanshen Cox DiGiovanni that investigates the question of how our belief in 'race' affects our most intimate relationships. DiGiovanni is a writer, educator, and actor who has appeared in film (Argo), television (The Mentalist, Angel, Days of Our Lives), and theater (The Vagina Monologues, Guys and Dolls). The show explores family, race, love, and pain - and a path towards reconciliation. One Drop of Love is produced by Ben Affleck, Chay Carter, Matt Damon, and the show's writer/performer, Fanshen Cox DiGiovanni. The performance, which is sponsored by Fairview Capital, will be followed by a talk-back with the performer.

One Drop of Love will be presented at The 224, a flexible performance space at 224 Farmington Avenue in Hartford. Performances are at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14. General admission tickets are $15 and are available by phone at 860-987-5900, online at bushnell.org, or in person at The Bushnell box office, 166 Capitol Avenue in Hartford. Free parking for the event is available in front of The 224, behind the building at 17 Niles Street, and at Trinity Episcopal Church on the corner of Sigourney Street and Farmington Avenue.
