6-8th Grade Youth Acting Classes Announced at Playhouse on Park

You're never too young to take the stage and at Playhouse on Park, pre-teens and teens from grades 6-8 can discover their inner performer in theatre classes to be offered this winter.

Through a variety of storytelling games, monologue/scene and movement work, and improv exercises young actors will learn how to create characters using their voices and bodies and develop the basic skills needed to bring them to life for an audience.

Classes are to be led by Playhouse on Park Director of Education, Dawn Loveland, and begin January 5th. Classes are also available for students in grades K-5th. Class size is limited and advanced registration is required. For registration forms and more information visit www.PlayhouseOnPark.org or call 860-523-5900 ext 10.

Note: If you register your child at least 10 days in advance of the first class of the session, you will also receive a voucher for one student ticket to an upcoming show FREE! Also, inquire about our sibling deals! All new students receive free "Actor in Training" t-shirt.
