This creative project of vital pulse and AliveTap companies is presented in the Studio Theatre after winning the scholarship for research and creation in dance of the Ministry of culture and the theatre more Julio Mario Santo Domingo.

According to its Greek etymology, Hybris means insanity, fury, hubris and audacity. The different meanings that have this term are determinant in the creative work of vital pulse and Alive Tap, two companies coming together to create a setting in scene where there are contemporary dance, body percussion and tap dance.

The Hybris has a life of its own. It manifests itself in multiple, simultaneous and often contradictory language. It is able to transform the space and time in motion as well as the sound. Their presence never ceases to mutate, but does not lose the balance. It overflows and collapses, testing its borders, try those who are in it. We could not say with certainty what happens when a body is possessed by the hubris...
