Inspired by actual events, Memphis the Musical is about a white radio DJ who wants to change the world and a black club singer who is ready for her big break. Audiences will be taken along on their incredible journey to the ends of the airwaves – filled with laughter, soaring emotion and roof-raising rock ‘n’ roll. Winner of four 2010 Tony Awards including Best Musical and two 2015 Olivier Awards, Memphis features a Tony-winning book by Joe DiPietro and a Tony-winning original score with music by Bon Jovi founding member David Bryan.

For over four decades, the Cain Park Arts Festival brings to Northeast Ohio the work of hundreds of artists across the country. FREE admission will be offered for the three-day juried event. Supplemental to the art exhibits, food concessions and live entertainment will be available for people of all ages. The Festival is comprised of hundreds of captivating fine arts and crafts items (ceramics, glass, wood, sculptures, jewelry), and two-dimensional art pieces (painting, watercolors, hand-pulled prints, and photography). Items are available both for purchase and the visual delight of attendants. The admission jury for the festival consists of three visual arts professionals with evaluating experience. Jury choices are based exclusively on artistic merit as represented on the images submitted.
