Over 100 Artisans Take Over the Cultural Center for the 45th Christkindl Markt

Start your holiday season at the 45th Annual Christkindl Markt on November 11, 12 and 13 at the Canton Cultural Center for the Arts. This premier juried fine arts and fine crafts show draws artists from across the country offering unique and handcrafted items in all price ranges. There will be new exhibitors plus past favorites. Markt hours are Friday, November 11 from 10am - 6pm; Saturday, November 12 from 10am - 6pm; and Sunday, November 13 from 11am - 4pm. Admission to the Markt is $6 in advance, $7 at the door. Children 12 & under are free. Strollers are not permitted. Door prize of a $1,000 Shopping Spree donated by Andreas Furniture of Sugarcreek can be won with a purchased entrance ticket.

Sponsoring this great fundraising event is Canton Fine Arts Associates, a volunteer and affiliate organization of the Canton Museum of Art. Since its inception in 1971, Christkindl has raised over $1.6 million for the Museum. Proceeds have provided sculptures, exhibits, scholarships, outreach programs, art experience for school children and much more.

EXHIBITORS: Shoppers will be thrilled to see exquisite glassware, pottery, collectible Santas, watercolors, metal sculptures, jewelry, photography, floral arrangements, holiday items and much more for every taste and budget.

CHRISTKINDL CAFÉ: A variety of soups, croissants and hot sandwiches, pasta, salads, snacks, desserts and beverages will be available for the hungry shopper.

MARKT BISTRO: Pizza, hot pretzels with cheese, deli sandwiches, German bologna and cheese trays, assorted sweets, featuring a special dessert each day, beverages, and wine and beer (Friday and Saturdayonly).

SWEET SHOPPE: Pizzelles, buckeyes, fudge, candy, a variety of holiday cookies and other assorted sweet treats will be sold. New this year will be sweet hostess gifts!

CHRISTKINDL RAFFLE: A fabulous collection of donated items from various businesses and members.

SILENT AUCTION: Donations from exhibitors, local artists and business community will be placed for bidding in a silent auction.

BASKET RAFFLE: Large baskets in a variety of popular themes will delight everyone.

BOOK SHOPPE: Hardcover and paperback books that have been lightly used but still filled with enjoyment.
