Smart and full of smiles, "Legally Blonde the Musical" opens at the Olmsted Performing Arts Center (OPAC) - http://www.olmstedperformingarts.com - in Olmsted Falls on Friday Sept. 25. It will be a totally awesome weekend, for sure, you guys.

"Legally Blonde the Musical" is the incredibly bubbly and catchy, musical version of the 1990s film "Legally Blonde." It is a fabulously fun, award winning, musical that follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she takes on law school, life and love. "Legally Blonde the Musical" is an upbeat romp that takes on stereotypes and watches a young girl blossom into a confident leader. It is a show with amazing singing and dancing, as well as a lot of heart.

The star of "Legally Blonde the Musical" from Olmsted Performing Arts (OPA) is Cleveland native Kaylea Kudlaty, a powerhouse singer and dancer who is crisp and charming, and is a student at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York. Kudlaty leads the cast as Woods, but she is complimented perfectly with intense and sparkling performances by OPA regular Jake Ingrassia as Emmett Forrest and Chelsea Falatic as Paulette Bonafonte.

"Legally Blonde the Musical" from OPA is directed by Megan Nicole, with assistant director Brad Ferguson. The show is produced by Angela Boehm, with musical direction by Tessa Hongosh and choreography by Marlee Roberts.

"Legally Blonde the Musical" is based on the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture "Legally Blonde" with music and lyrics by Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin.
