Cincinnati's Vocal Arts Ensemble (VAE), the city's premier professional choral ensemble, announces the details of its 37th season, the fourth under Grammy Award-winning Music Director Craig Hella Johnson. Highlighting the season is the regional premiere performance (March 4-5, 2017) of Mr. Johnson's own work, Considering Matthew Shepard. The other two concert programs feature works by some of today's most prominent composers including Jake Runestad and Eric Whitacre, as well as the fan favorite "Candlelit Christmas" performance. A common theme throughout the season is the impact of love, light and hope to inspire peace and justice.

Subscriptions for the VAE season start at $90 and are available now by visiting vaecinci.org or calling (513) 381-3300. Subscriptions purchased by Sept. 1 receive a 10% discount. Single tickets start at $25 in advance ($12 for students week of show) and are now on sale.
