The chorus brings “intensity and brilliance” (Chicago Classical Review) to the dramatic Kyrie, fiery Credo, and exhilarating Gloria. The orchestra shows off Vivaldi’s inventive instrumental music with concertos for violins and lute and the stunningly affecting Sinfonia al Santo Sepolcro.
