The audience becomes part of the play when Theatre in the Woods presents "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" at the Riverwoods Village Hall, 300 Portwine Road, Riverwoods, today, October 26, at 4 pm, as part of the Riverwoods Halloween celebration.

The three characters in the play, directed by Donna Lubow, include Snow White played by Emily Paul, the wicked queen portrayed by Kathie Keefe Howski, and a "stage manager" played by Brian Shutters. The "stage manager" at various times throughout the play becomes the guard, the huntsman, the magic mirror, and the handsome young prince.

The children in the audience participate in this creative drama experience by taking all of the additional roles. They become a forest, the dwarfs, the wind, the rain, the sun, and they learn about what makes up a play. Admission is free. Outdoors if weather permits, otherwise indoors.
