The Board is making additional investments in staff growth with the upcoming hire of a full-time Director of Development. The House launches its 16th Season this fall.

Artistic Director and founder, Nathan Allen, remarked, "It is such a pleasure to welcome Erik Schroeder to The House. As a friend, and long time admirer of his leadership in the community I am looking forward to partnering with him as we continue growing. Erik's spirit, experience, and hustle make him a great fit for our ambitious organization."

Board President David Shapiro spearheaded the national search. "The House is in a very healthy position following these last five seasons of sustained institutional advancement. We look forward Erik's leadership as The House enters its next phase of artistic and institutional growth," Shapiro said.

"I have been a huge fan of The House since seeing The Terrible Tragedy of Peter Pan in 2002," remarked Schroeder. "Fifteen years later I remain in awe of their imagination, tenacity, vitality and ambition, and I am thrilled to join their ranks. I look forward to contributing my energy to the remarkable work being done by The House staff, board and artists to build new audiences, engage a larger community, and lay the foundation for the next chapter of the adventure unfolding on stage -- and behind the scenes -- at this exciting company."
