A?fter mounting an impressive nine productions in suite 205 of the 4001 N Ravenswood building, Artistic Director Bob Fisher made the decision to close the doors on Zoo Studios in February of 2015 only to reopen in a familiar place: the basement of 4001 N Ravenswood beginning in May of 2015.

The first project to kick off the new Zoo Studios space will be the fourth production of the ongoing ALL GIRL PROJECT in October 2015 ALL GIRL DRACULA. Like the previous ALL GIRL PROJECTS (ALL GIRL MOBY DICK, ALL GIRL FRANKENSTEIN, ALL GIRL EDGAR ALLAN POE) the play will be a devised work by Fisher and company, based loosely off of Stoker's famous novel and finished with a twist and an air of what can only be described as "Mammalian".

Joining Fisher in the workshop process this spring are collaborators Erin Orr*, Whitney LaMora*, Anne Wilson*, Sarah Koerner*, Meredith Ernst, Sasha Warren*, and Amy Harmon. Casting to be announced for the full production later this summer.

In addition to moving to a new space, The Mammals plan on continuing with a heavier focus on video and multimedia work with ALL GIRL DRACULA. Fisher envisions the piece containing many multifaceted elements including video work, puppetry and projections an extension on what we have seen since The Mammals' production of ASSKICKING AMAZONS and into ALL GIRL EDGAR ALLAN POE. Fisher has been collaborating with both visual artists and puppeteers to make the production a multifaceted spectacle.

Stay tuned for further announcements from The Chicago Mammals from their new artistic home. ALL GIRL DRACULA will open October 2015 and tickets are available through allgirldracula.brownpapertickets.com.
