The Rum & Coke Collective begins its premiere season of irreverently aggressive theater with "Apples & Roofies" by Artistic Director J.W. Brewer. The show runs August 30th - September 8th, 2013 at City Lit Theater (1020 W. Bryn Mawr Ave.) Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the door or at brownpapertickets.com.

Rachel awakens in a jail cell after a vicious assault, finding herself a victim of her tormentors continued attacks. Finding solace in her only cell mate, a developmentally delayed fifteen year old, she searches for recovery in a world of trauma. Both lovingly hopeful and powerfully devastating, "Apples & Roofies" is a powerful reminder of both the good and the bad that lives within the human heart.

Individual dates and times: Friday Aug 30th at 8pm, Saturday Aug 31st at 3pm and 8pm, Sunday Sept 1st at 3pm, Friday Sept 6th at 8pm, Saturday Sept 7th at 3pm and 8pm, and Sunday Sept 8th at 3pm.

Written and Directed by J.W. Brewer, the show stars Elyse Dawson as Angel, Jeff Newman as Ben, Hannah Wegmann as Rachel, and Eli Kurtz as Richard.
