Chicago cabaret vocalist Rob Dorn performs his one man show "I Got Gershwin" at the Skokie Theatre Music Foundation on Sunday, February 7th at 2:00pm. Admission is free with a suggested donation. All proceeds will go towards scholarships a new summer youth program at the Skokie Theatre.

The Three Cat Education program will be presenting theater and music summer camps for kids beginning June 14th 2010 and running through August 20th. Led by Three Cat Education Director, Jacque Lueken, classes will include performance of the musical "Cinderella", Broadway Bound, Pop and Rock Musicals, Golly Glee: A Show Choir Camp, and Build Your Own Play.

"I Got Gershwin" will be on February 7th at 2:00pm. Tickets are free with a suggested donation to support the new youth education program. For more information, please contact the Skokie Theatre Music Foundation at 847-677-7761.

About Rob Dorn:

Rob Dorn has been performing professionally for twenty five years. Stage credits include "The 1940's Radio Hour" (Repertory Theatre of St. Louis) the second national tour of Stephen Sondheims "Into The Woods," "Forever Plaid" both in Chicago (Wisdom Bridge) and Minneapolis (Hey City Stage), performing the role of the Grand Inquisitor in Candide with the Minnesota Orchestra and as a carolette in "A Christmas Carol Peterson" for Theatre Latte Da.

Rob spent ten years as a member of the national touring vocal group, Three Hits and a Miss of which he was the founder and artistic director. Rob also works as a graphic designer, web designer, illustrator and cartoonist. He has contributed to web sites, books, greeting cards and theatrical posters.

Rob currently lives in Chicago with his partner Jason Paul Smith and four cats, George, Sam, Isabelle and Parker. Rob and Jason founded the company, Three Cat Media (before Parker was born) in Chicago
