Rachel Rockwell to Helm SHREK at Chicago Shakespeare Theater, 7/13-9/1

According to the Chicago Tribune, Rachel Rockwell is set to helm Chicago Shakespeare Theater's Shrek The Musical on Navy Pier. The show will run July 13- September. 1. Additionally CST will put on a new version of Othello, titled Othello: The Remix. Written by the Q Brothers the rap musical will run at the Upstairs Theatre, March 12- April 28.

Multiple Jeff Award-winner Rachel Rockwell's current and upcoming projects in Chicago include The Music Man (through Feb. 3 at Paramount Theatre), Short Shakespeare! Romeo and Juliet (Feb. 23 - March 23 at Chicago Shakespeare Theater) and Oliver! (April 4 - June 2 at Drury Lane).
